I'm not entirely atypical of my peers. I took my time in college just to end up with a mostly useless degree, and a lot of debt. Really, I'm just another twenty-something who can't seem to live up to their potential.
I want more than that for myself. I want to write. You know, for a living. That's why I'm here.
I'm bright, observant, and prone to excessive analysis. I'm a bit cynical, very sarcastic, and a touch self-deprecating. But above all, I'm honest. I don't believe in the concept of over-sharing and nothing is off-limits.
Other fun facts:
- Politically, I'm a liberal progressive. I'm also an atheist and a feminist. All of those things are fairly important to me. You've been warned.
- Despite that, my lifestyle is rather conservative. I don't drink or smoke, I've never done a drug in my life, and - brace yourself - I'm celibate. But spend five minutes with me and you will believe exactly none of those things.
- Therefore it goes without saying... I'm a complex individual. I have varied interests that do not accurately reflect my level of sanity or intelligence. Fart jokes? Yes. The opera? Also a yes.
- The love of my life is my 15-year-old, large-and-in-charge cat, Asia. I've raised a temperamental, insolent teenager, and I couldn't be more proud.
